Dear Sunnyside Parents/Guardians,

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides users with an easy, user-friendly way to register for athletics, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible.

When a parent/guardian registers through FamilyID, the system keeps track of their information in the FamilyID profile so that they can enter their information only once for multiple seasons and multiple family members all within one Family account. We feel that this online registration system will not only benefit our school athletic office, but will be a welcome change for parents/guardians as well.

NEW ATHLETIC REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATHLETES

1. To register your athlete click on the FamilyID link at https://shs.sunnysideschools.org/athletics/family_i_d_sports_registration

• Look under "Programs" for the current sport season registration link
• Click the blue colored registration link
• Then click “Register Now” button (Powered by FamilyID)

OR go to: https://www.familyid.com/organizations/sunnyside-high-school-athletics

2. Click “CREATE ACCOUNT” – Top right

3. Sign Up for your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select the agreement to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.

4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).

5. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com

6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer. Please choose only ONE sport your particpant/student would like to do for the current sport season.

7. Click “SAVE AND CONTINUE”.

8. Review your registration summary and then click “SUBMIT” (in green) on the right side to complete your registration.
9. Your athlete will NOT be approved until they have an updated physical that will get them through the end of their season turned into the ASB office and have purchased an ASB card for $30.00 in the ASB office at Sunnyside High School.
