Volleyball preview: Panthers aim for killer instinct

WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee High School volleyball team broke through to the Class 4A state tournament last season for the first time since 1991, completing the rebuilding project undertaken by coach LeAnne McGahuey in 2007.
With six players off that team returning for 2011, the Panthers hope they make the first of many visits back to the big stage this season.
“The goals are definitely higher this year,” said Wenatchee senior outside hitter Hannah Leiber, one of the team’s co-captains. “We have an excess of people that can play multiple positions, and we would like to be league champs and move on further at statefor full story:
