Sandra graduated from Davis in 2009 Sandra is 4 time state qualifier in Cross Country. She placed in the top ten at state three times. As a Sophomore she placed 7th, as a Junior she placed 3rd and as a Senior she placed 2nd at state. She was also a 2 time District Champion and a Regional Champion. She was the Big Nine runner of the year in 2007 and 2008. In Track and Field, Sandra set the school records in both the 3200m when she ran 10:41, and the 1600m by running 4:57. Sandra was also a 4 time District Champion in track while at Davis and named the Yakima Valley Athlete of the year in 2009. After graduating from Davis, Sandra was awarded a full ride scholarship to Oregon State University where she competed in Track and Cross Country. She graduated from Oregon State University with an Early Education degree. Currently she teaches at Washington Middles School.
